NB: Limescale is simply calcium and magnesium which are essential for the biological balance of water; it is the encrusting form that is problematic. A responsible treatment does not eliminate them but should soften them, preventing hard deposits while preserving minerals and trace elements naturally present in the water.
The Challenge: Calcite, the hard form of limescale in water, settles causing technical damage (malfunctions and reduced lifespan of appliances) and aesthetic damage (tarnished surfaces).
The limit of traditional solutions: Salt softeners exchange calcium and magnesium ions for sodium, eliminating minerals (Demineralized water is dangerous for health), thus the composition and taste of water are seriously altered, requiring regular maintenance and causing unacceptable bacterial load.
Mam Nature Swiss® Water Lime: A physical conversion of limescale. Our device intervenes not by removing limescale, but by modifying its crystal structure through the action of permanent magnets. It converts calcite (encrusting form) into aragonite (non-adherent form).
