ETH Zurich
ETH Zurich (Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich) is the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology — consistently ranked among the world's top five technical universities. Its laboratories are accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, the international standard for testing and calibration competence.
Independent ETH Zurich testing of the Mam Nature Swiss Fine Filter used challenge testing: spiking water samples with known concentrations of PFAS compounds, heavy metals, and microplastics, passing them through the Fine Filter, and measuring the difference using mass spectrometry.
Results: 95–99.9% retention across all tested contaminant classes. This testing was conducted with no commercial relationship with Mam Nature — it represents the highest level of independent scientific validation available in the European water treatment industry.
Swiss Safety Center
The Swiss Safety Center (SSC) is an independent Swiss conformity assessment body. Pressure certification of the Mam Nature stainless steel housings confirms structural integrity for sustained high-pressure operation.
Residential water systems in Switzerland operate at mains pressure of 3–7 bar continuously. The pressure certification verifies that every housing withstands this load over its 10-year service life without risk of failure, leakage, or material degradation.
All Mam Nature Swiss housings are machined from 316L stainless steel — the same medical-grade alloy used in pharmaceutical equipment and surgical instruments — and pressure-tested by the Swiss Safety Center before shipment.
ISO Certification
The ISO certificate confirms Mam Nature Swiss AG operates a certified quality management system. This means our manufacturing processes are documented, controlled, and subject to regular third-party audit — ensuring every unit leaving our Jona facility meets the same quality specification.
ISO certification is not a product performance test — it is a guarantee of process consistency. Combined with ETH Zurich performance testing and Swiss Safety Center pressure certification, it provides a complete quality assurance picture: the product works as specified, the housing is structurally safe, and the manufacturing process is controlled.
Very few water filtration brands hold this combination of certifications. It represents the standard expected of medical device and pharmaceutical equipment manufacturers — applied to water treatment.
